7th CICGF Exhibitors’ Guide

1. About CICGF
China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF), co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce PRC and Zhejiang Provincial Government, is the largest and most professional international consumer goods fair in China, which ranks only second to Canton Fair among all the exhibitions sponsored by Ministry of Commerce.
CICGF is held in the famous port city of Ningbo from June 8 to 12 every year. Six sessions have been successfully held since 2002, with several thousand enterprises from China and abroad exhibiting and thousands of buyers from all over the world attending.
The 7th CICGF (CICGF 2008) will be held from June 8 to 12, 2008, at Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center. 4000 booths will be set up, which will be divided into the following 6 exhibiting sections:
• Household textiles & garments
• Home appliances & electronics
• Office supply, sports articles & furniture
• Decoration & gifts
• Articles of daily use
• Foodstuffs
Besides, Overseas Exhibit section will be set up, yacht expo will be arranged at different location nearby.

4. Booth Charges
For Overseas exhibitors:
Standard booth (fully equipped, 3mX3m): 1200 USD / per booth
Raw space: 1000 USD/9 m² (the minimum space is 36 m2 )

5. Booth Layout
For a standard booth, the following are provided: 1 table, 4 chairs, 4 lights, 1 220v power socket, 12 shelf boards (100x30cm), 1 cabinet (80x40x40cm). Minor changes may be made without extra charge.

6. Exhibitor Requirements
--Items on exhibition should be within the above-mentioned categories.
--Retail of exhibited goods is prohibited.
--Exhibitors should abide intellectual property rights, comply with all rules of the Fair and cooperate with the Fair organizer.

7. Exhibitor application and payment
Exhibitor application can be done individually or by a group, through e-mail, fax, or online by the end of March. A 30% pre-payment of the exhibiting fee for the anticipated booths should be remitted to CICGF upon confirmation. Full payment must be completed by the end of April. In case any exhibitor fails to attend the fair, 30% of the full booth charge will not be returned, considering loss caused by the cancellation.
For those attending as a group, there should be an agreement between the group organizer and the CICGF Office.

8. Advantages of the fair:
--Manufacturing base. Zhejiang Province, of which Ningbo is a part, is China’s as well as the world’s largest consumer goods manufacturing base. 70% of the exhibiting enterprises are within hours’ or even minutes’ driving distance, making it much easier for buyers to explore.
--Excellent natural deep-water port, with cargo throughput ranking second in China and the third in the world. 163 container routes to over 600 ports. All the world’s 20 top container shipping companies have offices in Ningbo.
--Good exhibition infrastructure and excellent service.
