China’s Household Appliance Exports Grow Steadily in First Five Months

(July 22)--China’s household appliance exports continued to rise steadily in the first five months of 2008, with the export volume and value increasing by 9.21% and 20.62% year-on-year respectively to 1,160,011,400 units and US$ 15.829bn. More specifically, China exported 260.7252 million units of household appliances to North America that were valued at US$ 3.459bn in the period, climbing by 4.28% and 3.06% year-on-year respectively.
