Skyworth Digital’s TV Sales in Mainland China Soar in April

(June 4)--Skyworth Digital Holdings Limited (00751.HK) announced yesterday that in April the company’s television sales increased by 37.6% over the same period of last year. More specifically, the sales on the Mainland Chinese market rose by 3.3% year-on-year from 422,000 to 436,000 units, while the sales on the overseas market surged by 150.8% year-on-year to 321,000 units. In Mainland China, the company’s CRT television sales volume declined by 0.1% in April, while the sales volume of flat panel televisions (including LCD and plasma televisions) soared by 96.7% year-on-year.
